Freelancer, a name that is best recalls RAYMOND WEIL as one of the last independent watchmakers. It also characterizes a collection that is constantly reinterpreting itself, free from all constraints, while still conserving those elements which constitute its strengths: beveled horns, graphic use of screws on the dial and date window showing 3 days.

With the freelancer Simply Class, RAYMOND WEIL is giving a new soul to its chronograph now a best-seller. Here, the combination of the deep black dial with the garnet red of the chronograph hands and tachometer numbers lends a sober, rhythmic elegance to the piece.

Classically fitted with a black, saddle-stitched, calfskin leather strap, the case highlights the contrast between the polished and satin finishes, which are pleasing both to the eye and the touch. The steel-colored minute and hour hands are coated in a luminescent material providing night-time visibility.

The polished steel appliqué, delicately surrounding the seconds dial at 9 o’clock and attached by means of a screw, adds the perfect finishing touch to this model, quite simply….classy.
