    New Delhi, August 14, 2016: After the stupendous success of ‘Run to Clean’ Campaign hosted on June 26, 2016 at Connaught Place, Keep India Beautiful organised another cleanliness drive at Sector 92 & 93, Noida along with the local RWAs on August 14, 2016. Community Participation was the theme of this cleanliness drive and members of different RWAs participated in this drive. Armed with biodegradable garbage backpacks and gloves, they cleaned their surroundings.

    Host a cleanliness drive in Noida on 14 th of August 2016. Keep India Beautiful is a non-profit working towards making and keeping India beautiful. Keep India Beautiful organised a Community Clean-Up Activity, which provided opportunity to Residents of Sector 92, 92B, 93; 93A of Noida to participate in the cleaning up and improving their surroundings.



    Members of various RWAs were armed with garbage backpacks and gloves, and cleaned their surroundings. Keep India Beautiful also hosted a ‘Walking Discussion’ for the Residents to plan the beautification and maintenance of the surroundings along with a plantation drive.

    The event was free of charge for all and Keep India Beautiful provided Aprons, Recyclable Garbage bags, Gloves, few Saplings for Plantation and Medals to the participants. The garbage bag packs were saved for re-usage.

    Puneet Puri, Founder & Director, Keep India Beautiful said, “Community participation is the only way to make and keep India beautiful and people are willing to work towards clean India if given a platform and guided properly.

    Vishal Sethi, Director, Keep India Beautiful, “We aim to host many such events in near future and would be involving schools in the cleanliness drive very soon as children are the custodians of future clean India”.
