Passerine Sports Academy kicks off biggest tennis tournament

The AITA-Talent Series 7, Gurgaon for Under 12 and Under 14 concluded today after an 8 day show. The qualifying rounds started from 13th February with 154 children from all over Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Chandigarh.

2 children, Renee Singh from Jaipur and Poorvi Bhatt from Lucknow showed some amazing skills and
remarkable performances in Passerine Sports Academy that will be forever remembered. Renne Singh,
an unseeded player upsetted the seeded players of both Under 12 and Under 14 to reach the finals,
whereas Poorvi Bhatt maintained her rank by winning the Under 12 Singles and Under 14 Doubles title.
The semis of the boys Under 12 and Under 14 were also equally exciting with commendable
performances by Kartik Saxena and Shaurya Sood against the top-seeds.

The results of the AITA-TS7 Gurgaon are as follows:

Girls U12 Singles: Poorvi Bhatt bt Renee Singh (7-6, 3-6, 6-2)
Boys U12 Singles: Ajay Kundu bt Yash Hooda (6-2, 6-3)
Girls U14 Singles: Renee Singh bt Anjali Rathi (6-0, 6-3)
Boys U14 Singles: Bhavesh K. Agarwal bt Aryan Nijhawan (6-2, 6-1)
Girls U14 Doubles: Poorvi Bhatt & Renne Singla bt Akshita Sharma & Anushka Sharma (4-2, 2-4, 4-2)
Boys U14 Doubles: Bhavesh K. Agarwal & Aryan Nijhawan bt Aditya Singh & Chirag Duhan (4-0, 4-1)
