Activity In Agra:

Last but not the least of Golden Triangle Circuit is Agra. This historic city of Uttar Pradesh was the erstwhile capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. Later on his grandson, Emperor Shaah Jahan has constructed one of the most magnificent monument of all time on the bank of river Yamuna. He has built this monument of white marble in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal is now counted as one of the ‘Seven Wonders of World’ and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the focal point of Agra’s tourism industry.

Golf Carting To Taj Mahal: It is the latest from of communication that has been introduced by the Agra Development Authority(ADA) to facilitate both National and International tourists. These golf carts are eco-friendly and helps the visitors to commute from the western ghat of Taj Mahal towards the main structure. At present there are 12 battery operated golf carts that can travel 60 km, once fully charged. The ADA authorities has kept a very nominal charges of Rs 10 per ticket, so that local visitors can also experience this unique and new way of witnessing the beauty of Taj Mahal.
